A spring update and summer shows

Hey, Swingers!  We’ve been on a temporary hiatus since our Memphis gig but that doesn’t mean we’ve not been busy:

Katy has been tending to Rain For Roots, an album of songs about Bible stories for young children, which came into bloom in 2012.  Katy’s collaborators on RFR include Nashville recording artists Sandra McCracken, Flo Paris, Ellie Holcomb, and best-selling children’s author Sally Lloyd Jones.

After finishing out a busy fall 2012 with Emmylou Harris, Chris produced new albums for Haitian folksinger Beken and UK songwriter Danni Nicholls.  He is currently writing for some upcoming projects and occasionally venturing back to NYC to perform with Mario The Magician and the Sleight-Of-Hand Band.

Looking forward to this summer, we’re pleased to announce that we’ll be returning to both Cheekwood Botanical Garden and the Nashville Main Branch Library for concerts in June, and we’re also on the verge of announcing our first performance west of the Mississippi in August!  You can check our “live” page for the most current information.

We hope you’ve all been well and are very much looking forward to swinging with you this summer!
